Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to People’s Artist of Belarus

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to People’s Artist of Belarus Alexander Anisimov, chief conductor of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra.

“You can be rightly called the best symphony and opera conductor in present-day Belarus. Under your stewardship, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus reached new highs in performance and enriched the repertoire with extraordinary concert programs, which advanced the band to the world level,” the felicitation message reads.

“We appreciate you as a dedicated promoter of classical music, organizer of interesting creative events aimed at popularizing art among people and especially the youth,” the head of state said.
