Aleksandr Lukashenko presents state awards to chairmen of veterans’ organizations

    President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko presented state awards to chairmen of veterans’ organizations for active social work, a big personal contribution to the development of the veterans’ movement and patriotic education of the youth, social protection of veterans.

    The Order of Fatherland 3rd Class was bestowed upon Chairperson of the Grodno Oblast department of the Belarusian Union of Veterans Ivan Tustov and member of the National Council of the Belarusian Union of Veterans Olga Tishkevich.

    The Order of Honor was bestowed upon Chairperson of the Narovlya District Council of the Belarusian Union of Veterans Nikolai Vovrentovich, Chairperson of the Pinsk District Council Piotr Zhurkov, Chairperson of the labor veterans committee, Deputy Chairperson of the National Council of the Belarusian Union of Veterans Vasily Kozak, Chairperson of the Bykhov District Council Marina Kravets, Chairperson of the Beshenkovichi District Council Nikolai Lobkov and others.

    The President of the Republic of Belarus officially thanked participant of the Great Patriotic War Ivan Oleinik for a big personal contribution to the development of the veterans’ movement, active participation in the patriotic education of the youth. The head of state also thanked members of the Belarusian Union of Veterans.
