Aleksandr Lukashenko meets with First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko met with First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko to receive his report.
The head of state was informed about the visit of a Belarusian delegation to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on 28 May-2 June. The delegation was headed by Vladimir Semashko.
The facilities to produce MTZ tractors, MAZ trucks, and ceramic ware built in Venezuela in accordance with the contracts have recently come on stream. Vladimir Semashko emphasized that the enterprises operate well, and there are no claims to quality.
Other Belarus-Venezuela projects worth over $2.9 billion are currently in progress. Despite some problems, the contracts are on schedule.
Vladimir Semashko also informed Aleksandr Lukashenko about new mutually beneficial Belarus-Venezuela projects in agriculture, industry and construction, including housing construction.
The projects which are currently underway in petrochemistry, light industry and those implemented by Bellesbumprom and also investment projects were discussed during the meting as well.
