Aleksandr Lukashenko introduces new head of Belarus President Administration
Only the people, who are devoted to the country, highly trained professionals, people with a statesman’s vision should get to wield power, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said when introducing Andrei Kobyakov as head of the Belarus President Administration on 30 August.
The head of state remarked that Andrei Kobyakov had served the country and the nation with honor in various posts: auditing bodies, high posts in the government and the Belarus President Administration, in the diplomatic service. “Belarus is governed by people’s power and we try to get only the people, who are devoted to the country, highly trained professionals, people with a statesman’s vision, to wield the power,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The head of state remarked that personnel selection is the key area of efforts for any executive, including the president of a country. The handling of personnel matters always requires close attention, careful analysis, and pinpoint precision sometimes. It is particularly true when top posts in the government have to be filled.
Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined that the Belarus President Administration is not a mere government agency. In essence it is the president’s staff, the think tank where draft resolutions able to determine the fate of the country are prepared. The head of state believes that due to these reasons the responsibility required to appoint the head of the staff is even higher. “It cannot be just another professional. It should be a systemic person, highly organized inside, a responsible and honest person, a patriot of his country,” Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced.
Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that these and other reasons had prompted his decision to appoint Andrei Kobyakov Head of the Belarus President Administration.
