Aleksandr Lukashenko hears out report of Belneftekhim chief Igor Zhilin

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Chairman of Belneftekhim Concern Igor Zhilin to receive his regular report on 3 March.

    The operation of the Concern’s companies, their financial and economic performance were in the focus of attention at the meeting. Thus, trade surplus in the sector has soared three times since 2011, from $1.9 billion to $5.6 billion. “Our efficiency does not slow down even in the most complicated times. The profitability of sales by our companies does not go below 10%,” the Chairman said.

    Igor Zhilin also reported on the implementation of upgrade programs. “We have introduced a thousand of new facilities. We have been implementing a modernization program, including in the economic sphere. We have launched outsourcing programs in a number of our companies,” he said.

    The companies under the Concern have considerably expanded the list of import-substitution products.

    Personnel issues have been discussed at the meeting as well.
