Aleksandr Lukashenko gives interview to Chinese mass media

Relations with no other country are advancing as fast as with the People's Republic of China, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said in an interview to the leading mass media of China dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations on 17 January.

China 's mass media were represented by the Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television (CCTV), the Jemin Jibao newspaper, China Radio International.

The interview focused on a wide range of political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian issues. Reporters were interested in the Belarusian social and economic development model, projections of the situation in the world in 2012, Belarus-China cooperation prospects in the context of the Single Economic Space development.

"All topics are open for discussion, from the sale of potash fertilizers to China to the construction of a space satellite for China. The cooperation potential is huge. We know what to do and how," the head of state stressed.
