Aleksandr Lukashenko extends condolences over passing of Belarusian scientist Antonov
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Ignaty Antonov over the death of this renowned scientist, People’s Doctor of Belarus, honorary citizen of Minsk and Vitebsk, participant of the Great Patriotic War.
“Ignaty Petrovich devoted his life to the development of the fundamental and applied medical science. He is the author of outstanding Belarusian scientific achievements in neurology and neurosurgery. He worked hard and shared his experience with students. There are more than 60 doctors and candidates of medical sciences among them,” the message of condolences reads.
“Ignaty Petrovich was a talented scientist, authoritative leader and a great person,” the President remarked.
