Aleksandr Lukashenko extends condolences over Eduard Shevarnadze’s death

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, the people of Georgia, the family and friends of Eduard Shevarnadze in connection with the demise of this outstanding Georgian politician.

“The huge authority of Eduard Shevarnadze on the international arena, great personal qualities and many-year experience of participation in the Soviet state construction helped develop and strengthen the independent Georgian state, made a big contribution to the enhancement of relations between the Republic of Belarus and Georgia,” the message of condolences reads.
