Aleksandr Lukashenko extends condolences on the death of Lyudmila Kasatkina

    President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended his deepest condolences on the death of People's Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Kasatkina to her son Aleksei Kolosov.

    According to the head of state, Lyudmila Kasatkina had a long and eventful creative life. She made a bright mark in the history of the Soviet cinema and won people's love. Her films have become part of the golden fund of the cinema art.

    "We highly appreciated Lyudmila Kasatkina as one of the greatest modern actresses and a good friend of Belarus who has done a lot to foster cultural ties between the fraternal nations. Her demise left pain and sorrow in our hearts. Blessed memory of the outstanding cultural figure and great person, Lyudmila Kasatkina, will always live on the Belarusian soil," the message of condolences runs.
