Aleksandr Lukashenko expresses condolences to Pakistan President

    On behalf of the Belarusian nation and himself Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has offered condolence to Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain, friends and families of the people killed by the terrorist attack in Lahore. The head of state also wished speedy recovery to those, who have been injured.

    “The tragedy has sent ripples through the Belarusian nation, who has had its own fair share of bitter experiences and sincerely feels the pain of the brotherly people of Pakistan,” the message of condolence reads. “The mass slaughter of women and children underscores the total lack of principles of those behind the terrorist attacks and forces us to resolutely fight terrorism and extremism.”

    Belarus will always stand together with Pakistan in the uncompromising battle against such crimes, noted Aleksandr Lukashenko.

    The head of state also sent his condolence over the tragic demise of innocent citizens to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
