Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Sergei Martynov on Olympic gold medal

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated member of the Belarusian shooting team Sergei Martynov on the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

"I cordially congratulate you on the bight performance which brought the first gold medal to the Belarusian medal tally at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. I am convinced that your victory will inspire our Olympians on new sports achievements," the congratulatory message reads.

According to the head of state, Sergei Martynov's performance brought true joy to all amateurs of sport, displayed strength of spirit and genuine mastery.
