Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has
congratulated Andrei Pranevich on winning the Wheelchair Fencing Men's
Individual Epee event at the 15th Paralympic Games in Rio de
Janeiro.
“By winning Belarus’ first gold in wheelchair fencing, you have once again showed the world that our Motherland is rich in sports talents. Your victory, secured in tight competition with the world’s strongest Paralympians, will contribute to the sporting glory of Belarus,” the head of state noted.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Andrei Pranevich and the coach of the national wheelchair fencing team strong health and new successes.
