Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko attended the inauguration ceremony of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on 7 June.

The head of state also met with Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada Speaker Alexander Turchinov.

After the ceremony Aleksandr Lukashenko talked to the members of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada and mass media representatives.

The head of state answered a wide range of issues concerning the development of the foreign and political situation in Ukraine and future prospects of the Eurasian Economic Union.
