Aleksandr Lukashenko appoints new police chiefs

    President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed new heads of the police departments of Minsk Oblast, Brest Oblast, and Grodno Oblast. The head of state signed relevant decrees on 11 October.

    Police Colonel Viktor Senko has been appointed Chief of the Minsk Oblast Police Department.

    Police Major-General Ivan Savchits has been relieved of the post of the Chief of the Minsk Oblast Police Department and appointed Chief of the Brest Oblast Police Department.

    Police Major-General Vladimir Sychevsky has been relieved of his duties as the Chief of the Brest Oblast Police Department and appointed Chief of the Grodno Oblast Police Department.
