Agriculture Workers' Day greetings
Belarus President
Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to agriculture and processing
industry workers on the occasion of their professional holiday.
“A year of hard work is nearing its end. Good results have been achieved in the production of almost all types of agricultural products. The harvested crops have been stored, which ensures Belarus’ food security. Thanks to their high quality, Belarusian foodstuffs compete successfully with food products made in other countries,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that Belarus has build up good stocks of animal fodder that lay the foundation for successful development of the country’s meat and dairy industries in 2017. A solid basis for the processing industry has been created. Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that in all times, people working on the land have been resilient, strong and responsible. He thanked agricultural workers for the commitment to their work, and wished them health and energy. “May your plans come true for the benefit of our country,” the Belarusian leader wrote.
