Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent
greetings to the participants of the 8th Belarusian defense
technology expo MILEX 2017.
“The largest international forum in the Eastern Europe which is held in Belarus for the 8th time features the main trends and development prospects on the global defense technology market, highlights the achievements of scientists and designers in the development and manufacture of products for military purposes,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that today the military industrial complex is a crucial sector of the economy. MILEX 2017 gives a unique opportunity to the general public and specialists to get familiar with the best samples of our defense products. Cutting-edge technologies of the Belarusian defense sector help promote its export potential on the global arms market,” the head of state remarked.
He expressed confidence that the expo will serve as an efficient platform for the communication of experts and further development of the international cooperation in defense technology.
