Greetings to participants and guests of Minsk International Book Fair

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 25^th Minsk International Book Fair and the 4^thInternational Literary Symposium Writer and Time.

“The forum is considered to be one of brightest events in Belarus’ life. In a quarter of a century it has become known abroad as well,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the spiritual and moral development of the society is a priority for the Belarusian state, and, of course, books play an important role in this process. “It is hard to overestimate its importance for the preservation of the cultural legacy of generations, formation of the personality and aspiration for progress,” the President remarked.

According to the head of state, it is very important when honest and sincere words of writers help promote peace, understanding and humanism.
