Greetings on Belarusian Science Day

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated scientists, workers of research institutes and universities on their professional holiday, Belarusian Science Day.

“In the modern dynamic world science is the foundation for building a strong and prosperous country,” the head of state emphasized. “Achievements of Belarusian scientists are the pride of our state. Thanks to your research and innovations, new enterprises are set up and new branches of the national economy are developed, unique medical technologies are devised, and food security issues are solved.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko also remarked that a system of supporting talented youth has been formed, labor remuneration approaches have been improved, conditions for research and creativity have been ensured to raise the prestige of scientific work.

The President expressed confidence that science will help promote the wellbeing of Belarus and bring tangible benefits to the society.
