Condolences over passing of People’s Artist of Russia Dmitri Hvorostovsky

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of People’s Artist of Russia Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

“This wonderful person of incredible talent left a unique mark in the history of modern culture and opera art, was sincerely appreciated both in Russia and abroad,” the message of condolences reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that people in Belarus like the creative work of Dmitri Hvorostovsky. “The untimely death of this person whose creative work inspired people and gave only positive emotions is an irretrievable loss for all of us,” the head of state stressed.
