Belarusian athletes congratulated on great performance in European women's marathon

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated members of the Belarusian athletics national team Volha Mazuronak, Marina Domantsevich, Anastasia Ivanova and Nina Savina on a great performance in the women’s marathon at the 2018 European Athletics Championships in Berlin.

The head of state expressed deep gratitude to leader of the team Volha Mazuronak. “Your victory in the individual and team standings is not just a significant achievement but also an example of dedication and courage,” the message of greetings says.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the team did great at the track in Berlin and won the team’s cup reaffirming the strength of the Belarusian athletics school. “The country is proud of you!” the Belarusian leader stressed.

He wished the athletes strong health and new achievements.
