Belarus President makes new appointments

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made new appointments on 12 February.

The head of state appointed:

Anatoly Markevich aide to the Belarus president – inspector for Brest Oblast;

Vitaly Prima aide to the Belarus president – inspector for Minsk;

Pavel Pustovoy – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Spain with a concurrent accreditation as the permanent representative of the Republic of Belarus at the World Tourism Organization;

Vladimir Chushev Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Poland;

Andrei Sviridov deputy head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate;

Alena Kupchyna Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Slovenia with a concurrent accreditation as the permanent representative of the Republic of Belarus at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe;

Alexander Ponomarev Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Croatia on concurrent;

Ruslan Yesin Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand on concurrent.

The president also approved the appointment of:

Sergei Fedchenko as the chairman of the Nogogrudok District Executive Committee;

Viktor Rebkovets as the chairman of the Klichev District Executive Committee;

Alexander Moroz as the director general of Minsk Mechanical Plant named after Sergei Vavilov – a managing company of BelOMO Holding Company;

Oleg Shvets as the deputy architecture and construction minister;

Irina Osmola as the first deputy chairperson of the State Standardization Committee.
