Recalling our meeting in Minsk on 25 September 2017 and your promise to do your best to accelerate the release of the Belarusian citizen, I would like to thank you for your personal contribution to helping us bring Vyachesav Kachura back home. Your assistance in protecting the lives, health, and interests of compatriots abroad that are very important tasks for every President is a vivid example of the friendly brotherly ties between Belarus and Russia,” the Belarusian head of state said in his letter to Ramzan Kadyrov.

It deserves profound respect,” the President remarked.

“What you have done for our citizen is much more than just helping him restore his lost right to freedom. You gave him an opportunity to see his family and friends after many years of separation, you helped him regain confidence in the future,” the Belarusian leader said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko assured that Belarus is a reliable partner of the UAE and values the relations of friendship and trust between the two countries. “We will be always happy to give a helping hand to Emirati people if necessary,” the head of state added.
