Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Ilham Aliyev on presidential election victory

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Ilham Aliyev who won the presidential election in Azerbaijan.

“The results of the election showed that people strongly support the commitment to building strong and prosperous Azerbaijan. I am convinced that your activities as the head of state will ensure further enhancement of the country’s economic potential and international sovereignty, will help promote comprehensive development of Belarus-Azerbaijan friendly relations,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished Ilham Aliyev strong health, happiness, unflagging energy and success in all undertakings.
