Decree No. 43 of 28 January 2008

On 28 January, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 43 “On the Activity of Construction Organisations, Garage Cooperative Societies and Cooperative Societies Exploiting Parking Lots”.

By this Decree, several provisions have been adopted: the provisions on the organisations of builders, on the procedure of registering the citizens in need of places to park their vehicles, on the procedure of setting up and the activity of garage cooperatives exploiting parking lots.

The Decree improves the approaches to setting up and exploiting cooperatives of open parking lots and garages, identifies the procedure of registering the citizens in need of places to park their vehicles and the documents required to become registered on such a list; it also stipulates the procedure of taking the citizens off that list.
