Concerning the bestowal of the awards For Spiritual Revival in 2014

Decree No. 649 of 30 December 2014
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has conferred five awards For Spiritual Revival in 2014. The decree on presenting the awards was signed by Aleksandr Lukashenko on 30 December.

The awards were bestowed on labor collectives and teams of authors for their humanitarian activities.

Among the awardees are Father Superior of the religious community Parish of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” of the Minsk Eparchy of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Igor Korostelev and assistant professor at the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University Marina Kravtsova. The awards were bestowed on them for setting up special workshops at the parish to facilitate socialization of people with serious disabilities.

The award was also bestowed upon the team of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus for highlighting national and historical traditions in the Vitaut ballet.

Other awardees include the team of the National Care Home for War and Labor Veterans who made a great contribution to the improvement of the country’s social security system and the promotion of the ideas of humanity and kindness in the society.

The team of the children’s education and recreation center Zubrenok was awarded for their achievements in developing children’s talents, skills, and abilities and nurturing the future community leaders.

The Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union was awarded for its significant contribution to promoting patriotism and citizenship.

The decree on bestowing the award is a testimony to the government’s constant efforts to promote moral values, humanity and kindness, preserve and multiply the nation’s cultural heritage and cultivate the love for the Fatherland.
