On conferment of state awards

Decree No. 199 of 31 May 2017
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 199 to honor over 50 people with state awards.

Representatives of various professions received orders and medals in recognition of many-year productive work, exemplary fulfillment of service duties, personal courage and bravery displayed in crime prevention and mitigation of emergencies, attainment of great results in agriculture, achievements in the development of the services sector, science, education, culture, and sport.

The Order for Service to the Homeland 3rd Class has been conferred on Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus Vadim Denisenko, commander of the 103rd separate guards airborne brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus Vadim Shadura.

The Order of Honor has been conferred on chief advisor at ZAO Holographic Industry Leonid Tanin. The Order of Fatherland 2nd Class has been bestowed upon Director General of OAO Belovezhsky Yuri Moroz. The Order for Personal Courage has been presented to officer of the guard of fire fighting department No. 1 at the Krupki District Emergencies Department Alexander Shimansky.

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna has been conferred on teacher of the Minsk State College of Arts Yelena Atrashkevich, leading stage performer of the Minsk Oblast Drama Theater Boris Donin.

In accordance with the decree, honorary titles have been conferred on representatives of various professions. In particular, Director General of the Pripyat National Park Stepan Bambiza has become the Honored Worker of the Forestry Industry, head of the research center for warfare simulation at the Military Academy Vasily Buloichik – the Honored Scientist. Member of the national freestyle skiing team Anton Kushnir has become the Honored Master of Sport of Belarus.
