Workers of Belarusian TV and Radio Company receive presidential commendation

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko issued a commendation praising the workers of the National State Television and Radio Company of Belarus for professional excellence, a big personal contribution to the coverage of crucial social, economic, and political events in the country. The head of state signed a corresponding executive order on 26 October.

    Among the awardees are Marat Markov, Deputy Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company, Dmitry Bochkov, Deputy Chief Director of the Television News Agency.

    In accordance with the executive order, the President issued a commendation to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine (2001-2016) Valentin Velichko in recognition of the many-year productive work, a big personal contribution to the enhancement of friendly relations with Ukraine and the development of Belarus-Ukraine cooperation.

    The President also thanked a number of workers of education, culture, and transport.
