Telephone conversation with Russia President Vladimir Putin

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Russia President Vladimir Putin on 31 January.

    The heads of state discussed the state of affairs in the Belarusian-Russian cooperation, interaction in various fields, including the development of trade and economic relations.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin agreed to hold a meeting in the near future to discuss the implementation of agreements which were made at the previous negotiations in Moscow at the end of 2018.

    The presidents also discussed other issues in the relations of the two countries, including the efficient work of the bilateral taskforce.
