Telephone conversation between Aleksandr Lukashenko, Nursultan Nazarbayev

    A telephone conversation between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and his Kazakhstani counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev took place on 6 October.

    The heads of state discussed further enhancement of bilateral relations and the preparations for the sessions of the CIS Heads of State Council and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of the heads of state which will take place in Minsk.

    Special attention was drawn to the development of the Eurasian Economic Union. The sides discussed the simultaneous ratification of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbayev also discussed a number of important issues on the international agenda.
