Sergei Khomenko appointed head of Interior Ministry’s security department

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree on appointing Major General Sergei Khomenko head of the security department of the Interior Ministry. He was relieved of the post of First Deputy Commander of Interior Forces of the Interior Ministry – Head of Staff.

Sergei Khomenko was awarded a special rank of the Major General of Police.
