Presidential scholarships awarded to 99 young Belarusian scientists

    Presidential scholarships have been awarded to 99 young Belarusian scientists. A corresponding Decree was signed by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

    Among scholarship recipients are representatives of biological, technical, physico-mathematical, chemical, medical, agricultural, social and humanitarian sciences. These include eight doctors of sciences, 60 candidates of sciences and 31 young scientists without degrees.

    Achievements of scholarship recipients are applied in the education process, by Belarusian economic operators and organizations of the social sector. The results of research were published in scientific journals, inventions were patented.

    The decision to award scholarships is aimed at further training of highly qualified scientific workers, development of domestic scientific schools and support the research activities of talented young researchers.
