Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Belarusian policemen and veterans of law enforcement bodies who celebrate their professional holiday, Police Day.
“By continuing glorious heroic traditions of older generations, Belarusian policemen fulfill their duty with honor and dignity. Workers of law enforcement bodies have achieved a lot, worked hard and displayed their courage, professionalism and civil responsibility,” the message of greetings reads.
The President remarked that law enforcement agencies fulfill complicated and responsible tasks to ensure law and order in the society, protect the constitutional rights and liberties and maintain stability in the state.
“I am convinced that you will continue serving your country with dignity. The state and society appreciate your commitment and loyalty to the Fatherland,” the head of state stressed.
He also thanked policemen for their service to the Homeland and wished every success in their demanding work.
