Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved a plan of preparing draft laws in 2021. The head of state signed a corresponding Decree on 4 January.
The main criteria for the formation of the plan were the society’s real demand for the regulation of corresponding relations, the priority order of the regulatory activities within the framework of the applicable legislation. Special attention was drawn to ensuring the systematic, comprehensive and stable nature of legal regulation.
It is planned to prepare 34 draft laws in 2021. These include brand-new laws (“On volunteering activities”, “On insurance activities”, “On leasing activities”, “On the regulation of safety of using nuclear power”, “On associations of employers”) as well as documents aimed at the systematic improvement of existing laws. The government will submit 27 documents from this list of planned draft laws to the parliament.
The plan also envisages the preparation of concepts of laws “On the work with genetic resources”, “On diplomatic service”, “On accreditation in the National Accreditation System”.
