Order of Mother conferred on 114 Belarusian women
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 230 to award the Order of Mother.
The award for giving birth to and raising five and more children was bestowed upon women from all walks of life, including women working in the manufacturing industry, agriculture, trade, education, healthcare, communications, in the social sector, and culture, and housewives.
Among the awardees are teacher of the Voropayevo secondary school, Postavy District, Tatyana Nosevich, stock manager of the Shchuchin department of the Grodno Oblast consumer society Olga Artish, worker of Shklov Newsprint Mill Olga Chichova, stockbreeder of the enterprise Vostok Agro, Molodechno District, Anna Bondar, nurse of the Logoisk central district hospital Svetlana Pavlovskaya.
The Order of Mother was conferred on 114 women from Vitebsk Oblast, Gomel Oblast, Grodno Oblast, Mogilev Oblast, and Minsk Oblast.
