Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko held an informal meeting with famous U.S. actor Steven Seagal on 24 August.

The actor cooperates with the Belarusian IT company. Steven Seagal confessed that he dreamt to meet Aleksandr Lukashenko and asked for a meeting with the Belarusian head of state when he was planning his trip to Minsk. The guest has a special attitude to Belarus, also because Steven Seagal has Belarusian roots.

The meeting with the President turned to be very interesting and quite informative for the guest, with an accent on agriculture. Steven Seagal was shown Belarus’ most cultivated plants and gourds.

Over a light dinner in the President’s Residence the guests were offered dishes of the Belarusian cuisine.
