Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko appointed new heads of the Operational and AnalyticalCenter and the Security Service of the Belarusian President. These personnel decisions were made at the meeting with high-ranking representatives of power-wielding bodies.
Andrei Pavlyuchenko was appointed Head of the Operational and AnalyticalCenter. Previously he worked as the head of the Security Service. Dmitry Shakhrayev was appointed Head of the Security Service. Previously he worked as the deputy head of this organization.
At the beginning of the meeting Alexander Lukashenko said that during the session with the representatives of the IT sector which was held in the morning it was mentioned that the situation in the world is not calm, new challenges emerge. “There are hotbeds of tension. Therefore, external security is a crucial issue for us. But it is also important to focus on the internal security, stable development of our country, our society. Anti-corruption efforts play a big role in it,” the president remarked.
The Operational and AnalyticalCenter and the Security Service of the Belarusian President together with other agencies are also involved in this work. “They are working hard. And we are by right proud of the achievements they make in the fight against corruption. It is also acknowledged on the international arena,” Alexander Lukashenko said. It is still needed to address a number of issues and step up efforts in this field, the president believes.
