Meeting with French actor Gerard Depardieu

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with well-known French actor and restaurant-keeper Gerard Depardieu on 22 July.

Aleksandr Lukashenko and Gerard Depardieu held informal talks regarding agriculture support worldwide, development of technologies in growing eco-friendly food products. The parties also discussed possible promising cooperation projects in culture and art between Belarus and France.

The head of state took Gerard Depardieu on a short tour around the Belarus President’s official residence Ozerny in Ostroshitsky Gorodok, demonstrated some samples of the Belarusian agricultural machinery and taught the actor scything.
