I wish you Happy Knowledge Day.

A good tradition to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year unites various generations. This holiday reminds adults about school and university years, old friends, happy childhood and youth. For children and young people it means the next step to the summit of knowledge, meetings with friends and favorite teachers.

But first of all, this is the holiday for first-graders because every one of us remembers the first day at school.

1 September is a wonderful occasion to thank teachers whose work combines the best human qualities, and an active civil position plays a crucial role in building the future of the country.

Knowledge, culture and spirituality are the guarantee of stability and prosperity of the state. That is why, a lot is being done in Belarus to provide high-quality and affordable education which will help all people find their places in life.

I hope that the new academic year will be the time of creation and inspiration, and every day at school will bring the joy of creative discoveries.
