Greetings to Russia President Vladimir Putin

    Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Russia President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Peoples of Belarus and Russia.

    “Over the years of integration we have reached significant results by effectively solving key tasks of bilateral cooperation. Today the Union State is an example of productive integration for the entire Eurasian continent,” the message of greetings reads.

    At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that modern realities set new large-scale tasks for the states. “I am convinced that with a harmonized strategy we will manage to implement our projects and continue productive work in the best interests of the two countries,” the President stressed.

    The head of state also sent Unity Day greetings to Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Union State, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, Chairman of the Central Commission of the Communist Party of Russia Gennady Zyuganov.
