Greetings to participants and guests of defense technology expo MILEX 2019

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the defense technology expo MILEX 2019.

“This remarkable forum traditionally reflects major trends in the formation of the global weapons market and features cutting-edge achievements of leading Belarusian and foreign manufacturers of military products,” the message of greetings reads.

According to the head of state, the format of the defense technology expo MILEX once again demonstrates the openness of our country, Belarus’ interest in the development of cooperation with other states in the field of security. It gives an opportunity to the general public to learn more about the achievements of the defense industry which is one of the crucial high-tech sectors of the national economy.

The president is convinced that the expo will encourage manufacturers of weapons to share their best practices, kick-start their joint projects and become a good platform for signing mutually beneficial contracts. He also wished the organizers, participants and guests of the MILEX 2019 expo health, every success and productive work.
