Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Belarusian athlete Elvira Herman (100m hurdles) on winning the gold medal at the 2^nd European Games in Minsk.

“You have inscribed your name in the history of the European Games thanks to your convincing 100m hurdles victory at the Dinamo stadium,” the message of greetings reads. “Great physical fitness and ideal technique helped you produce a world-class result. Congratulations on this achievement!”
