Belarus President and President of the National Olympic Committee Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated member of the Belarusian national tennis team Aryna Sabalenka on a victory at the 2018 Wuhan Open in China.

“With your brilliant performance you win the love of millions of fans around the world, glorify your country and make Belarusian fans happy,” the message of congratulations says.

The head of state stressed that the world’s best tennis players yield to the player’s energy, skills and self-belief. “I am confident that the first WTA Premier 5 title is the start of a long journey to great victories and new career-high WTA rankings,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The President wished Aryna Sabalenka and her team strong health and a successful completion of the season.
