Greetings on 95th anniversary of Belarusian cinema

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings on occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Belarusian cinema.

    The President stressed that over a long history of gradual development the national cinema has produced many excellent films. “We are by right proud of our talented and legendary filmmakers, whose films have been recognized far beyond the borders of the country, have become part of the world culture. Today, cinema fans are waiting from you new masterpieces about the modern life, an in-depth analysis of the creative path that our state has gone through during the years of independence,” the message of greetings reads.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko wished filmmakers inexhaustible inspiration, successful premiers, peace and prosperity. “I am confident that by our joint efforts we will continue to serve the high moral and aesthetic ideals, cherish and multiply our best achievements, help discover young talents, satisfy social needs of the society, strengthen the positive image of the Republic of Belarus,” the head of state said.
