Condolences to France President Emmanuel Macron

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to French people, France President Emmanuel Macron, family and friends of Jacques Chirac over the passing of this French politician.

“It is with great sorrow that I have learned the news about the passing of Jacques Chirac, former president of the French Republic, outstanding public figure, who had been taking an active part in the formation of the politics of the Fifth Republic in the past four decades,” the message of condolences reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that thanks to his professional outlook and life experience, including in external relations and security, Jacques Chirac was recognized and respected all over the world and took his rightful place in the modern political pantheon.
