President Alexander Lukashenko has offered condolences to the family and
friends of People’s Artist of Belarus Gennady Garbuk.
“He devoted his whole life, spiritual power, talent and inspiration to theater. He made an invaluable contribution to the history of modern art, Belarus’ spiritual treasury. His creative work was an example of selfless service to the national culture and the Fatherland,” the message of condolences reads.
The head of state also remarked that Gennady Garbuk brought up several generations of talented artists who are now doing their best to showcase, preserve and multiply the best traditions of the Belarusian theater school.
