Condolences over passing of actor Sergei Yursky

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the family and friends of People’s Artist of the RSFSR Sergei Yursky.

“A very talented actor loved by many generations of people passed away. Classy behavior, charisma, professionalism and a unique manner of acting helped him portray hundreds of memorable roles which have become an example of true art. His roles in films and theater productions amazed the audience with psychological authenticity, depth and strength of character,” the message of condolences reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that people in Belarus know and appreciate the creative work of Sergei Yursky. “Blesses memory of this wonderful person will remain in our hearts forever,” he said.
