Commentary to Decree No. 4 of 5 January 2015
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 4 “Concerning the approval of the provision regarding the interaction of mail service operators and investigation agencies”.
The document aims to improve legal regulation of cooperation between mail service operators and investigation agencies.
In particular, the Decree obliges mail service operators to create conditions and provide assistance to the authorized public bodies to enhance fight against crime.
The provision will come into force in three months after the official publication of the Decree.
