Belarus President’s fund awards scholarships to 191 students

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed an executive order to approve the resolution of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the social support of talented students.

In accordance with the resolution, 191 students of higher education institutions will get scholarships for excellent results in the 2018/2019 academic year. Allowances have been also awarded to 117 winners of international academic excellence competitions and intellectual contests.

In accordance with the executive order, about Br990,000 will be allocated for the social support of talented students this year.

The document aims to ensure the provision of targeted support to talented students and create favorable conditions for their development.
