Belarus President makes new appointments

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made new appointments on 31 August.

The head of state appointed:

Maksim Yermolovich Finance Minister;

Viktor Karankevich Energy Minister;

Dmitry Mironchik Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Norway with concurrent accreditation;

Vladimir Astapenko Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Paraguay and the Republic of Peru with concurrent accreditation.

The president also approved the appointment of:

Andrei Rybakov as the chairman of the Belarusian State Oil and Chemistry Concern;

Yelena Aleksina as the chairperson of the Gomel District Executive Committee;

Yuri Gorlov as the chairman of the Molodechno District Executive Committee;

Denis Kolesen as the chairman of the Stolbtsy District Executive Committee;

Dmitry Martinovich as the chairman of the Bykhov District Executive Committee;

Leonid Zasemchuk as the chairman of the Klimovichi District Executive Committee;

Alexander Rogozhnik as the director general of the Minsk Motor Plant;

Irina Zarembovskaya as the director of Brest Electric Lamp Plant;

Ivan Rebkovets as the deputy transport and communications minister;

Artem Sikorsky as the director of the Aviation Department at the Transport and Communications Ministry;

Igor Bondarev as the consul general of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai (the United Arab Emirates);

Sergei Gladyshev as a member of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee;

Alexander Neverovsky as a member of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee;

Pavel Mikhalyuk as a member of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee;

Alexander Terekhov as a member of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.
