Belarus President appoints three Supreme Court judges

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 88 “On the appointment and dismissal of judges” on 27 February.

    Igor Kolesnik and Tatyana Mikolenko have been appointed Supreme Court judges with the subsequent approval of this decision by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly.

    Konstantin Kharitonyuk has been appointed Supreme Court judge for an unlimited period of time with the subsequent approval of this decision by the Council of the Republic.

    Igor Proshko became the chairperson of the Mogilev Oblast court. Svetlana Buryako – the deputy chairperson.

    The President also relieved a number of judges and chairmen of courts of their posts.
